Op Sceptre - Day 4

Good Evening All,

As promised earlier, here is our final Op Sceptre update.

We have certainly saved the best update for last. Today saw an incredible joint operation between our team, the Dudley North (Sedgley) team, Project Guardian team and the ASB team at Dudley Council.

We had an all-out day, focusing on the biggest areas of concern, and whilst the focus of course was on knife crime, we also tackled what mattered most to you - Off Road Bikes! We gave a significant amount of attention to the areas of St Thomas where we know there are the ongoing issues for Off-Road Bikes, and made use of the Council's drone.

In total between all teams involved today, there were 29 Stop Searches, 3 arrests, three community resolutions issued, two tickets issued for Road Traffic Offences and two off-road bikes seized!

It was a fantastic effort from all teams involved and had some fantastic results for the community - illustrating the importance of working together. This is definitely something we will look to do more of over the coming few weeks and months.

We also completed a pre-planned weapons sweep, and had a Police Surgery down in Quarry Bank - a very busy day!
